Marcial Otero's work experience begins in 2013 as a Student Researcher at the Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto, where they worked until 2015. In 2016, they joined Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas as a Doctorate Fellow, conducting research on fault diagnosis in rotating electrical machines, with a focus on induction motors and Electrical Signature Analysis (ESA) based techniques. During this time, they developed a signal injection technique for detecting multiple types of failure modes. In 2021, Marcial joined Samotics as an Electrical Signature Analysis Specialist, and by 2022, they advanced to the role of Lead Electrical Signature Analysis Specialist.
Marcial Otero earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto. Marcial completed this degree between 2010 and 2016. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering at the same university, which they are expected to complete between 2016 and 2022.
