Peter Schoevers has a diverse work experience, starting their career in 1988 at Solvay Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Management member. In 1999, they founded marviQ, which they worked on until 2002. Peter then established the Drug Discovery Factory in 2003, where they acted as the owner. In 2008, they created Julius Clinical, an Academic Clinical Research Organisation, where they served as the CEO and Founder until 2016. Peter also co-founded Catalyze - Life Sciences Consultants in 2004 and Essential Ventures in 2012, taking on the roles of Chairman & Founder and Owner, respectively. Presently, they serve as a Non-Executive Director & Investor at Samotics, a position they have held since 2016.

Peter Schoevers completed their education at the University of Groningen from 1983 to 1989, earning a Master's degree in Business Administration. Prior to that, in 1993 to 1994, they participated in the Japan Executive Training Programme at Sophia University. Peter had also attended the Lorentz Lyceum where they obtained an Atheneum B degree, although the specific dates are not provided.
