Ramon Houtsma

Ramon Houtsma is an Information Security Officer at Samotics since 2021, where responsibilities include proposing and managing information security measures, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 standards, and providing security awareness training. Notable projects include overseeing the ISO 27001 transition to the 2022 standard, implementing a phishing campaign, and the technical rollout of Single Sign-On and Automatic User Account Provisioning. Prior to this role, Ramon completed an internship at TNO focused on Machine Learning for Risk-Adaptive Access Control and served on the executive board of D.R.V. Euros while also being a competitive rower for six years. Ramon holds a Master of Science in Technical Computer Science with a specialization in Cyber Security, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Creative Technology, both from the University of Twente.
