Richard Koopmanschap

Richard Koopmanschap has held various positions in the software engineering and development field since 2012. In 2012, they were a Stagiare at the National Aerospace Laboratory, where they built a jet fighter simulator with intelligent agents. From 2013 to 2017, they were a CTO/Web Developer at DiningCity, where they were involved in the backend and frontend development of an online reservation platform for restaurants. In 2017, they began working as a Freelance Ruby on Rails Developer at DiningCity, developing reservation software for restaurants and business intelligence applications. From 2015 to 2021, they were a Senior Software Developer and Researcher at MonetDB Solutions, where they were a lead developer on a commercial product that attempted to automate data science. Since 2021, they have been a Software-ingenieur at Samotics.

Richard Koopmanschap has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Artificial Intelligence from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) and a Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence from VU Amsterdam as well. Richard also holds two certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS): AWS Certified Developer - Associate (obtained in November 2021) and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (obtained in March 2021).
