Youri S.

Youri S. has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Firefly Eindhoven, where they developed a web application for creating drone shows. They also gained experience in drone control and piloting. In 2019, they joined EuFlex Technificent as a Teaching Assistant, assisting with multiple courses and grading assignments. At Syfly, also in 2019, Youri designed and built a software interface for controlling and communicating with drone sensor modules, as well as developing a user-friendly interface for non-technical users. They later focused on mentoring new members. In 2021, Youri became a Board Member at ZES Gliding, responsible for maintaining and coordinating the sailplane fleet. Finally, in 2022, they will begin working as a Software Engineer at Samotics.

Youri S. completed their education at various institutions. Youri began their academic journey in 2011 at Niftarlake College, where they pursued a VWO degree in Nature and Technology. After completing their VWO degree in 2017, they moved on to Eindhoven University of Technology. At this university, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude) in Computer Science and Engineering, which took him from 2017 to 2020. Building upon their undergraduate studies, Youri pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering, which they obtained from Eindhoven University of Technology between 2020 and 2022.
