Anders Brix

Anders Brix has extensive experience in the insurance and pensions sector. Anders is currently the Head of Product Development at Sampension since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at EY as the Director, Head of Insurance Consulting and CFO Advisory from August 2018 to January 2023. At EY, they led business transformation and CFO advisory teams, providing consulting services to the industry.

Before their role at EY, Anders held various positions at PFA, starting as the Head of Actuarial Services - Customers & BI from June 2013 to April 2016. Anders then became the Head of Products & Underwriting from May 2016 to July 2018.

Anders also has experience working at Danica Pension, where they served as the Chief Risk Officer from June 2011 to May 2013. Prior to that, they held roles such as Head of ALM and Market Risk and Senior Analyst in Risk Management and Investment.

Earlier in their career, Anders worked at Risk Management Solutions as the Lead Modeller, responsible for developing and implementing models for weather derivative portfolios and statistical models for catastrophe events. Anders also worked at Guy Carpenter as an Actuary.

Anders has a strong academic background, having worked as a Post. Doc. at Lancaster University and as an Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Biostatistics, University of Copenhagen. Anders also conducted research as a Ph.D. candidate at INRA French National Institute for Agricultural Research.

Anders Brix began their education in 1985 at Nakskov Gymnasium, where they completed their secondary education. In 1989, they enrolled at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they pursued a degree in Mathematical Statistics. Anders successfully completed their Cand. Scient. degree in Mathematical Statistics in 1995. Anders continued their academic journey at Den Kgl. Veterinær- og Landbohøjskole, where they pursued a Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics. Their doctoral studies lasted from 1995 to 1998.
