Christopher Kan

Christopher Kan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Christopher started their career as a Core Laboratory Technician at the University of Southern California in 2010. After that, they served as a Representative to the UC Board of Regents at the University of California from 2013 to 2016. During this time, they also worked as a Graduate Researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 2013 to 2018. In 2016, they joined Icelandic Plus as a Scientific Consultant for a few months. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Business and Regulatory Strategy Consultant at Miraculex. In 2018, they briefly served as a Customer Support Manager & Field Application Scientist at Dovetail Genomics, LLC. Christopher then joined Personalis, Inc. as a Business Development Manager from 2019 to 2021. Following that, they worked at Tempus Labs, Inc. as the Director of Business Development from 2021 to 2022. Prior to their current position at Sampling Human as the Director of Business Development starting in 2023, they were a Business Development and Strategy Consultant at a stealth startup from 2022 to 2023.

Christopher Kan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with Honors and Anthropology from Bowdoin College. Christopher also has a Masters degree in Genomics and BioInformatics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Furthermore, they obtained a Certificate in Bioscience Management (MBA Edu.) from Keck Graduate Institute. Lastly, they have certificates in Immuno-Oncology and Cancer Genomics from Harvard Medical School.
