Facundo Gatica is an experienced energy engineer currently working at Sampol since June 2022, focusing on the economic offering and optimization of energy generation projects, including cogeneration and trigeneration, as well as specializing in energy efficiency and photovoltaic plant design. Prior to this role, Gatica served as a Project Leader at Ingenieria SIMA SA from January 2020 to January 2022, successfully leading a major oilfield road construction project. Gatica began a career in the energy sector as a Young Graduate Trainee at Tecpetrol from October 2017 to December 2019, actively participating in maintenance and production, as well as overseeing the commissioning of wells. An internship at Thru Tubing Solutions involved improving inventory management through technology. Gatica holds an MBA from Esade and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
