Adam Simons

Adam Simons has a strong background in corporate communications and public affairs. Adam currently holds the position of Head of Corporate Communications at Samsara since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Okta from 2020 to 2021, where they held roles in both Corporate Communications and Product Communications. Before joining Okta, Adam was the Government, Public Affairs, & Policy Director - West Region at Schnitzer Steel from 2017 to 2019. Adam also served as the Chief of Staff in the Office of Oakland Vice Mayor at the City of Oakland from 2015 to 2017. Adam'swork experience also includes a role as a Campaign Director at Clifford Moss Consulting / Annie Campbell Washington for Oakland City Council from 2014 to 2015. Overall, Adam Simons has a diverse range of experience in communications and public affairs across various industries and sectors.

Adam Simons has a Master of Public Affairs degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Goldman School of Public Policy. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (Honors) with a Certificate in Integrated Liberal Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
