Xin Yang's work experience begins in 2004 at UC Berkeley as a Researcher, where they worked on designing power sensing MEMS sensors and researching Smart Meters using Mesh Networks. From 2005 to 2007, Xin worked as a Consultant for the California Energy Commission. From 2005 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Crossbow Technology, Inc, where they collaborated with Atmel to roll out AT86RF230, created the next generation Crossbow wireless radio processor board, and developed mesh protocols, firmware, and Bootloaders for wireless products. At Moog, from 2010 to 2012, they served as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. From 2012 to 2015, Xin worked at Crestron Electronics as an Engineering Manager, focusing on Lighting and Shade Firmware. From 2015 to 2019, Xin was the Senior Firmware Manager at Whistle Labs. Currently, Xin Yang holds the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Samsara since September 2019.
Xin Yang began their education at the University of California, Berkeley from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Applied Math. Later, in 2012, Xin Yang attended San Jose State University and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
