Eva Leys

Eva Leys serves as General Counsel Europe at Samsonite, a position held since September 2011, where responsibilities include general legal work and contract drafting for various departments across European subsidiaries. Prior to this, Eva worked as Legal Counsel at International Paper from January 2005 to October 2009, focusing on corporate governance and contract drafting for European entities. Eva began the legal career as an Associate in the Corporate & Transactions Practice Group at Allen & Overy, assisting with acquisitions, due diligence, and corporate governance matters. Academically, Eva holds a Master in Law from the University of Gent, a Diploma in Business Studies from The London School of Economics, and experience studying private international and company law at the University of Nottingham.
