John Sears

John Sears is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product design, development, and management within the outdoor equipment industry. Currently serving as General Manager at Samsonite for Gregory Mountain Products since July 2014, John oversees brand responsibilities including product creation, marketing, sales, operations, and P&L management. Prior roles include Vice President at Gregory Mountain Products, where responsibilities encompassed product design, marketing, sourcing, and operations, as well as director-level positions at Black Diamond Equipment and KSS Outdoor Holdings. John began the career at BAE Systems as Design Manager and has held various design positions at Armor Holdings, Bianchi International, and Motorola Mobility. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology and completed an Executive Leadership program in Business Administration at Westminster University.
