Phil Karl

Phil Karl is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in industrial design and project management. Currently serving as the Design Project Director of Hard Goods at Samsonite since July 2013, Phil also holds the position of Principal at PhilKarlDesign, a role established in October 2002. Prior experience includes serving as Design Director at Delta Cycle Corp. from October 2002 to July 2013, as well as an Industrial Designer at Kaiju Studios until January 2011. Earlier in his career, Phil was a Senior Industrial Designer at Samsonite / American Tourister from 1996 to 2002. Phil Karl is an alumnus of the Rhode Island School of Design, where education was completed from 1990 to 1994.
