Chingiz Babaev

Chingiz Babaev, FCCA, has extensive experience in financial management and consulting, holding key positions in notable companies. At JTI, from November 2008 to August 2012, Chingiz served as Finance Controller, overseeing all financial matters at a cigarette manufacturing factory, and managed a team of accountants and finance analysts. From April 2018 to April 2021, Chingiz worked as Associate Director in Management Consulting at KPMG, managing a portfolio of projects across various sectors including Automotive and Oil & Gas. Previous roles include Finance Director at JCDecaux (October 2012 - February 2015), Consulting Department Manager at Deloitte (February 2015 - March 2018), and a Customer Business Development Finance Manager at Procter & Gamble (1999 - 2005). Currently, Chingiz holds the position of Management Support Finance Manager at Samsung Electronics since October 2022, and served as Consulting Department Director at Grant Thornton LLP from June 2021 to October 2022. Chingiz's educational background includes degrees from Bowdoin College, The University of Memphis, and The University of World Economy & Diplomacy, along with ACCA membership since 2016.
