Gary Xu currently serves as Vice President of Research at Samsung Research America, where leadership focuses on a research team dedicated to advancing 6G technology and proof-of-concept development. Previously, Gary held positions as Senior Director and Director, overseeing system design and hardware prototyping for 5G Full Dimension MIMO. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Staff Engineer at Texas Instruments and Principal Engineer at Nokia. Gary holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
