Igor Carvalho, Ph.D., has extensive experience in computer networks and computational intelligence research, having worked as a Computer Networks Researcher at GERCOM UFPA from May 2011 to December 2021, where Igor published and co-authored research papers at major conferences. Prior to that, Igor taught English at the American School Of Language from March 2008 to December 2013, conducting TOEFL evaluations. Igor also contributed as a part-time researcher at LASSE from October 2016 to August 2017, focusing on edge caching in LTE networks, and served as a trainee in IT support at FAPESPA in 2012. Currently, Igor holds dual roles as a Security R&D Specialist and AI Software Developer at Samsung Electronics since January 2022. Igor obtained a degree from Universidade Federal do Pará between 2016 and 2021.
