Jiyon Han

Jiyon Han is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience at Samsung Electronics, currently serving as a Director since October 2002. Jiyon's expertise lies in open source collaboration, having led significant initiatives such as the Tizen Developer Conference and the formation of the Open Interconnect Consortium, which became the world's first IoT Consortium. Additionally, Jiyon holds a position on the Board of Directors at the JS Foundation, representing Samsung Electronics and focusing on IoT advancements. Past roles include Senior Software Engineer at KT and a Software Engineer at Tong Yang Systems, alongside a robust educational background with a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and a Bachelor’s degree from Yonsei University.
