Jonghyon Yi

Jonghyon Yi is a Principal Engineer in the Health and Medical Equipment Business Team at Samsung Electronics, where they have focused on imaging pipeline and image processing algorithm development for medical equipment since 2012. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Engineer in the same team from 2002 to 2012, contributing to advancements in imaging technologies for scanners and copiers. Jonghyon's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Yonsei University, complemented by a Master of Science degree from the same institution. They also served as a Visiting Scholar at Purdue University's EISL Lab from 2005 to 2007. Currently, Jonghyon's group is concentrating on deep learning approaches for medical image processing, particularly in ultrasound modalities.
