Joonsik Chae

Joonsik Chae is currently serving as Legal Counsel at Samsung Electronics, a role they began in 2020. They previously worked as an Associate and Summer Associate at Paul Hastings from 2019 to 2020 and as a Korean Patent Attorney at Koryo IP & Law from 2013 to 2016, where they provided strategic patent services to major tech companies, including Samsung. Joonsik completed their J.D. in IP Law from New York University School of Law in 2019, having also attended the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center for a summer program in the same year. They are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, alongside a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Yonsei University.
