Junam Song

Junam Song is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Samsung Electronics, engaged in the System LSI division's AP Development team since June 2023, focusing on making cutting-edge large language models feasible on constrained devices. Previously, Junam held multiple roles within Samsung Electronics, including Machine Learning Engineer, where significant contributions included developing deep learning-based image segmentation and remosaic solutions for mobile devices, employing advanced techniques such as TensorFlow’s quantization-aware training. Other roles involved designing algorithms for bad pixel correction and AI-based yield improvement solutions. Junam's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Kyungpook National University and a Master's degree in Deep Learning and Computer Vision from KAIST.
