Mark Newton

Mark Newton is the Head of North America Corporate Sustainability at Samsung Electronics, focusing on sustainable business strategies, climate and energy initiatives, and responsible sourcing. With extensive experience in sustainability, Mark serves on the Board of Directors for the Smallholder Farmers Alliance, aiding small-scale farmers in Haiti. Previous roles include Corporate Vice President of Sustainability at VF Corporation, Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Timberland, and Executive Director of Sustainable Business at Dell, among others. Mark holds a Doctorate and a Master of Science in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry from Keene State College.
