Yongbin Im Ryan has a diverse professional background, currently serving as a member of ASHRAE since December 2014. Previously, Yongbin Im was a lecturer at the Institute of Ocean Energy Saga University in 2006, focusing on research related to Plate Heat Exchangers for Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion systems. From 1999 to 2002, Yongbin Im served as a lieutenant in the Republic of Korea Army, specializing in artillery. Since October 2006, Yongbin Im has held the position of principal professional at Samsung Electronics, contributing to the Air-Conditioning R&D Team. Yongbin Im earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning from Pukyong National University, achieving high academic honors in all stages of education.
