Sung-Gi Yang

Sung-Gi Yang is an RF/Analog/MS IC Lead at Samsung Electronics, where they have been leading the development of 5G mmWave RFICs and Direct RF/IF Sampling AFEs for Basestations since 2017. Prior to this role, they held various engineering positions within Samsung Electronics from 1999 to 2008, including developing Cellular and Wireless Connectivity RF Transceivers. Sung-Gi also served as a Visiting Scholar in Prof. Bruce Wooley's Group at Stanford University from 2008 to 2009. They earned a PhD and a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Seoul National University, completing their studies between 1994 and 1999.
