Won-Chul Bang

Won-Chul Bang serves as the Vice President and Group Leader of Medical Imaging at Samsung Electronics since January 2015, overseeing advancements in AI, deep learning, image processing, and signal processing. Previously, Won-Chul held the position of Principal Engineer, focusing on artificial intelligence and image processing. Prior to joining Samsung Electronics, Won-Chul was a Senior Researcher at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology from September 2002 to December 2014. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master of Engineering in the same field, both earned from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
