David Lee

David Lee is the current Head of Samsung Next at Samsung. Prior to this, they were a Managing Partner at Refactor Capital from January 2016 to January 2021. David was also a Managing Partner at SV Angel LLC from August 2007 to May 2015, where they made investments in Coinbase, Blockstack, Chain.com, LedgerX, Flatiron Health, Airbnb, Stripe,, Dropbox, Github and others. From September 2003 to March 2007, David Lee was a Principal at Google Inc., where they led new business development efforts related to video and other multimedia search and advertising projects. Before that, they were an Associate at Morrison and Foerster LLP from October 2000 to October 2003, where they focused on technology-related transactions and structured, negotiated and closed transactions related to the Internet, computer software, hardware, and other technologies in a variety of industries. David Lee has also held positions as a Tee Ball Manager at Bees from May 2015 to January 2016, and as Head of Business Development at StumbleUpon Inc. from April 2007 to August 2007.

David Lee has a JD from New York University School of Law, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a BA in Physics/Mathematics from The Johns Hopkins University.
