Gemma Lenowitz

Gemma Lenowitz is currently the Program Director at Samvid Ventures since March 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Two Sigma from July 2018 to January 2023, where Gemma served as Portfolio Manager for the Overdeck Family Foundation, and held positions as Associate Program Officer and Program Analyst. In 2021, Gemma was an Edtech Fellow at On Deck. Prior to this, Gemma worked at MESA Charter High School from July 2015 to June 2018 as the Founding STEM Coordinator and 12th Grade Team Lead, focusing on subjects such as Bioengineering and Robotics, and at Teach For America from July 2013 to June 2015 as a Science Teacher. Gemma holds a B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. in Teaching from Fordham University, alongside participation in the International Honors Program.
