WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS OF MENSTRUAL POVERTY?
Worldwide, 500 million women have no access to hygienic menstrual products. The effects of menstrual poverty affect physical and mental health as well as productivity in the workplace. Many girls who suffer from menstrual poverty improvise with old newspaper, old blankets, chicken feathers or mud.
Due to negative experiences at school, some girls even drop out of school and have difficulties entering the labor market.

EDUCATION 📚
We believe that sustainable product design and education go hand in hand to achieve a long-term impact.
For this reason, we want to promote education about menstrual health. To do this, we work with schools and orphanages or similar institutions.

CREATING SUSTAINABLE JOBS 💼
We have recognized that investing in health and sanitation is an important part of developing a sustainable world. We strengthen the role of women by offering them secure jobs in an important sustainable sector that contributes to the country's development.

SCALING OUR IMPACT 👭
We train women to make their own sanitary towels and support them to start their own production so that they can have a secure income and support other women to feel comfortable in their bodies every day.
