Gregor Schroeder

Gregor Schroeder is an experienced data professional currently serving as the Manager of Regional Models, Estimates, and Forecasts at the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) since October 2023. With a strong background in statistics and data science, Gregor has held various roles, including Statistics Consultant at Harder+Company Community Research since September 2010, where expertise includes developing ETL and Business Intelligence pipelines and analyzing program efficacy through advanced statistical methods. Previous positions include Senior Data Scientist at Biological Dynamics, where a transition to a Python-driven Azure ML platform was executed, and Principal Researcher and Modeler at SANDAG, where large-scale database design and micro-simulated transportation models were developed. Educated with a Master of Science in Statistics from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from UC Santa Barbara, Gregor has demonstrated a commitment to leveraging data for impactful insights and solutions within varied organizational contexts.
