John Duncan is currently serving as the Mayor and holds the position of Director on the Board of Directors for both the Metro Wastewater Joint Powers Authority and the San Diego Association of Governments. Elected as a City Councilmember in November 2022, they have been actively involved in monitoring and advocating for solutions to cross-border water pollution. Previously, John was the Co-Managing Partner at Duncan Peterson, LLP and held positions at Pite Duncan, LLP and as an attorney in private practice. John earned a degree from the University of Southern California between 1987 and 1991.
