Mike MacCombie

Mike MacCombie is an accomplished builder and leader in the venture capital and startup ecosystem, currently serving as a Builder at Building Something New - Stealth, and as Head of Platform at Surface Ventures since January 2022. With a rich background as a Venture Partner at H/L Ventures and NextGen Venture Partners, Mike also mentors at Techstars and contributes as a member of Sandbox. Previously, Mike co-founded The Underground, a community focused on supporting diverse entrepreneurs in technology. Additional experiences include serving as Director of Platform at ff Venture Capital and working as a Behavior Scientist at Masogo Advisors. An alumnus of Brown University, Mike holds a B.A. in Economics, Public Policy, and Education Studies.
