Eric Shoup

Eric Shoup has a strong background in software engineering, spanning over two decades. Eric currently holds the position of Software Engineer at SandboxAQ, joining in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Barbaricum for three years, where they participated in the development of a web/API scraping system using Vue.js and Go lang/Python. Before Barbaricum, Eric served as a Senior Software Engineer at Verizon for four years, where they designed and implemented a parallelized, multiprocess software suite to aggregate statistics from large volumes of data using Python and C/C++. Eric also worked at DCS Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer for eight years, focusing on sensor integration and conducting regular customer interactions. Earlier in their career, Eric held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Harris Corporation and as a Member of the Engineering Staff at Lockheed Martin, where they were involved with the development of communication systems and web-based solutions, respectively. Additionally, Eric obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering while working full time at Lockheed Martin.

Eric Shoup earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where they attended from 1996 to 2001. Eric then pursued further education at the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2002 to 2004.
