Brian Ziff serves as General Counsel at Sandor Development since March 2012. Prior to this role, Brian Ziff worked as a Litigator at Clark Hill PLC from 1998 to 2012. Brian Ziff earned a Juris Doctor degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology between 1993 and 1996 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan from 1989 to 1993.

Sandor is one of the largest privately held shopping center developers in the nation, owning and operating over 8 million square feet of commercial retail across 25 states. Building on 60 years of success and with a focus on center revitalization, Sandor has the stability to take a long-term view of property and market success. Although the portfolio was built primarily through ground-up development, in 2008-2009 the focus shifted to acquisition. Since then, Sandor has acquired more than $700 million of undeveloped land, existing centers, and single-tenant assets in the last seven years. While many competitors have struggled, Sandor’s financial strength created opportunity, growing the company from 6 to over 8 million square feet in the past ten years.
