Building on 60 years of success and with a focus on center revitalization, Sandor has the stability to take a long-term view of property and market success. Although the portfolio was built primarily through ground-up development, in 2008-2009 the focus shifted to acquisition. Since then, Sandor has acquired more than $700 million of undeveloped land, existing centers, and single-tenant assets in the last seven years. While many competitors have struggled, Sandor’s financial strength created opportunity, growing the company from 6 to over 8 million square feet in the past ten years.
