Bas Coolen

Bas Coolen is a seasoned corporate finance and treasury leader with over 25 years of global experience in treasury, risk management, insurance, and capital markets across diverse industries. Currently serving as the Global Head of Treasury & Insurance at Sandoz since 2023, Bas has been instrumental in the successful spin-off from Novartis and the implementation of global insurance programs. Prior to this role, Bas held several leadership positions, including Global Head of Treasury, Insurance and Investor Relations at Archroma, where significant achievements included establishing a comprehensive global treasury organization. Bas's extensive background is supported by an M.A. in Corporate Finance from Universiteit van Tilburg and additional studies at Purdue University and INSEAD.
