Christopher Allen

Christopher Allen has a diverse work experience in the field of security and risk management. Christopher currently holds the position of Global Head Protective Security at Sandoz. Prior to this, they worked as the Physical Security Operations Manager (EMEA) at PINKERTON | Comprehensive Risk Management. Christopher also founded and served as a consultant at Pincer Security Consulting, where they helped organizations manage security risks and create safe workplaces. Christopher has also held roles at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., National Security Advisory Centre, and Royal Bank of Scotland. Christopher has a strong background in security program management and has previously worked at TomTom and Starbucks Coffee International in senior management positions. Additionally, Christopher worked as a Security Sergeant/Supervisor at OPCW.

Christopher Allen has a strong educational background in security management. Christopher obtained an MSc. in Security Management from Loughborough University in 2014-2016 and also completed a Postgraduate Diploma and a Postgraduate Certificate in Security Management from the same university in 2010-2011 and 2008-2010, respectively. Christopher further pursued studies in criminal justice, earning a Certificate of Higher Learning from the University of Portsmouth in 2001-2005. Additionally, Christopher has obtained several certifications related to risk management and information security, including Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) from The Business Continuity Institute in 2017 and Lead Auditor (ISO 27001) from BSi in 2013. Christopher also received training in policing and administration from SAPS College in 1993.
