Igor Legen currently serves as the Global Head of Clinical Development for Complex Projects at Sandoz since October 2017, also holding positions as Head of Clinical Development and Head of Dissolution Sciences. Responsibilities include bioequivalence risk assessment, dissolution testing, in vivo-in vitro correlation, biowaivers, and optimizing laboratory processes. Prior to Sandoz, Igor Legen worked at Lek Pharmaceuticals d.d. from November 2003 to October 2017 as the Head of IVIVC and a researcher. Igor Legen obtained a Ph.D. in Drug Absorption from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Ljubljana.
