Joerg E. Allgaeuer

Joerg E. Allgaeuer serves as the Global Head of External Communications at Sandoz since February 2023. Previously, Allgaeuer held significant roles in various leading organizations, including Head of Corporate Communications at KPMG Germany, where responsibilities encompassed press and media activities, strategic consulting, and crisis communication. At Munich Re, Allgaeuer was Global Head of Media Relations & Digital Communications, managing multiple departments and overseeing global communications strategy. Prior experiences include leadership roles in corporate communications at Sky Deutschland AG, Brunswick Group, HypoVereinsbank, Fidelity International, Allianz SE, and Bayerischer Rundfunk. Academic qualifications include an Executive MBA from the Technical University of Munich and a Doctorate in Political Science from the University of Bayreuth, among other degrees in related fields.
