Michael Struempel is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Head of MS&T at Sandoz since July 2017. Previously, Michael held various roles at Sandoz, including Senior Technical Manager and Technical Manager for MS&T External Supply Operations. Prior to joining Sandoz, Michael worked at Takeda in Deutschland as Manager of Product Transfer in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and at AEROPHARM GmbH as a Process Expert. Michael began their career at Bayer Weimar GmbH und Co. KG as a Project Manager in Process Development. Academically, Michael holds a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Chemistry and a Diplom in Chemistry, both from Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
