Ravi Kumar

Ravi Kumar has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Ravi worked at Sandoz as a Principal Scientist starting in 2019. Prior to that, they were at Pfizer where they held multiple roles including Manager and Deputy Manager. At Pfizer, they led teams in material characterization, extractables and leachables, impurity isolation, and method validation. Ravi also established a new lab for material identification and characterization. Before Pfizer, Ravi worked at Hospira as an Assistant Manager in Technology transfer, where they focused on method development, validation, and remediation using various instruments. Ravi also worked at AstraZeneca as a Research Scientist, managing analytical requirements and leading project teams. Ravi'searlier experience includes working at Orchid Pharma as a Research Associate and at AUROBINDO PHARMA LTD as a QC finished api analyst, where they conducted analysis and trouble-shooting, and calibrated analytical instruments.

Ravi Kumar has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Analytical Chemistry from Ideal College, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from Andhra Loyola College between 2001 and 2004. Ravi also attended SVR Public School in Vijayawada, where they obtained their SSC degree from 1997 to 1999. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in July 2020 and various other certifications related to software compliance and chemistry in 2016.
