Thomas Portmann

Thomas Portmann is a Senior Supply Chain Leader with extensive experience in strategic sourcing, demand and supply planning, and inventory management, primarily within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. They have held leadership positions at notable companies such as Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund, Smith & Nephew, and Zimmer Biomet, managing large teams and overseeing substantial spend volumes while driving cost savings through improved sourcing strategies. Thomas has an Executive MBA in Supply Chain & Logistics Management from Kalaidos University and furthered their education at IMD in Supply Chain Management. They are currently the Head of Supply Chain Management for Sandoz, where they continue to leverage their expertise in enhancing supply chain processes.
