Established in 2011, Sandra Cadavid is a socially-responsible luxury handbag and jewelry company.  Acclaimed by celebrities, media outlets, and globally-conscious consumers alike, Sandra Cadavid designs and produces high-quality goods using only the best materials locally sourced in Sandra’s home country, Colombia.  Our products are handmade by expert artisans.  We use high-quality, alta gamma leather and vegetable-based dyes so that we protect both our environment and our artisans.  The hardware featured is 24k gold, 24k rose gold, sterling silver, or vintage plated.  

One of the things we think makes Sandra Cadavid special is our dedication to women.  We actively hire women who have faced tragic, senseless violence in Cali, one of the most dangerous cities in the world.  Many of these women are single mothers unable to find work due to their circumstances.  These amazing women are now among our team members and serve as the assistants to our artisans. 

Also, Sandra Cadavid partners with organizations that help to further causes in which we believe.  For example, our Together Cuff was designed to raise awareness about the traumas of cancer, and a portion of net proceeds are given to support cancer research.  Our United for Women Necklace was designed to support social needs for women and launched in partnership with United Way of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh.  And, recently, we co-designed a necklace for the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater to support their programs for youth.  With each such campaign, we donate a portion of our net proceeds to charitable causes.

Our achievements to date include: being featured at the famed flagship store of Henri Bendel; a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised start-up capital of $37,861; our first corporate order from the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers; and widespread media coverage, including InStyle, LA Fashion, Good Housekeeping, The Today Show, Glamour, and Vogue.
