Eric Black has extensive experience in investment management, currently serving as Associate Portfolio Manager at Sands Capital since 2013, where previous roles included Senior Research Analyst and Research Analyst among others. Eric’s earlier professional experience includes positions as Research Assistant at the World Justice Project and Wikistrat, as well as a Congressional Intern for the Office of Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren. Eric holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and is a Level III Test Candidate at the CFA Institute. Academic qualifications also include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy and Russian from Georgetown University, and a Certificate in Russian Language, History, and Culture from the International University in Moscow. Eric completed high school at La Canada High School, graduating in 2007.
