Åsa Beckius

Åsa Beckius is an experienced professional in the fields of sustainability, human rights, and business management. Currently serving as the Head of Sustainable Supplier Management at Sandvik since November 2022, Beckius has previously held positions as a Senior Business Advisor at Beckius Advisory and a Senior Adviser on Business and Human Rights at Enact Sustainable Strategies. A significant tenure at Diakonia as a Senior Policy Advisor focused on Business and Human Rights lasted from September 2014 to July 2021. Beckius's earlier roles include consulting on Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law, managing projects for the International Committee of the Red Cross, and working with the Swedish Red Cross on human rights and corporate engagement initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master of Human Rights from Uppsala University and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Stockholm University, complemented by further studies at University of Bergen and Stockholm School of Theology.
