David Phiri is currently the Manager of EHS&Q at Sandvik, where they oversee the establishment and improvement of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Management Systems. David previously served as Senior Chemist at ZCCM-Analytical Services and as Assistant Chief Chemist at BP Zambia Plc. They obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from The University of Zambia in 1990. David has been with Sandvik since 2000 and has also managed EHS&Q for Sandvik Mining and Construction Zambia since 2006.
