Robert Cornelius

Robert Cornelius currently serves as the Vice President of Group Business Control at Sandvik, a position held since June 2019, overseeing financial analysis, reporting, and performance management for the Sandvik Group. Previously, Robert was the Director of M&A and Investments at Sandvik, contributing to strategic project execution and decision-making processes. Prior experience includes M&A Manager at Skanska, where responsibilities encompassed the governance framework for M&A activities across multiple regions, and Director at PK Partners AB, advising on high-value M&A transactions. Earlier roles also include internships as an M&A Analyst at Vattenfall and Credit Suisse, along with military service as a Sergeant and 2nd Lieutenant in the Swedish Armed Forces. Robert holds a Master of Science in Accounting & Financial Management from the Stockholm School of Economics and completed an MBA programme focused on Finance & Management at the Asian Institute of Management.
