Taina Heimonen

Taina Heimonen possesses extensive expertise in project management and product safety within the mining and automation sectors. Currently serving as the P&S Product Line Project Office and Product Safety Manager at Sandvik since August 2018, responsibilities include leading the development of Parts & Services offerings while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Previous positions at Sandvik Mining encompassed roles such as Business Development Manager and Marketing and Sales Manager, focusing on UGM Automation's global marketing activities. Prior to Sandvik, Taina worked as Global Product Line Manager at Metso Automation and held multiple roles including Product Manager and Y2K Coordinator. Taina's career commenced at Valmet Automation as Support Manager, overseeing call center operations. Taina holds a Master's degree in Engineering from Tampere University of Technology.
