Timothy Dumm has extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the field of abrasives. Currently serving as R&D Manager for Sandvik Hyperion since 1989, Timothy leads a team focused on the development and qualification of new diamond powder products and manufacturing processes. Additionally, Timothy holds the same title at Hyperion Materials & Technologies, where contributions include the development of industrial diamond and super hard materials. Prior experience includes a role as R&D Manager at Plateau Mining Company and a background as a Mining Engineer. Timothy Dumm holds a PhD in Mining and Mineral Processing from Penn State University, awarded between 1986 and 1989.
