Sanitech was founded in 1982 as the first portable toilet hire company in South Africa. In 1996 the Hygiene division was established, offering an integrated solution including daily/deep cleaning, hygiene and pest control. In 2007 the business growth continued after Sanitech was purchased, and began the global support of Waco International.

As a result, the company grew to over 20 branches nationwide, expanded into Africa and is able to proudly boast one of the largest rental fleets (25 000 units and over 200 vehicles) with the widest variety of units in the industry.

Today Sanitech is the leading service provider of Integrated environmental solutions for hygiene and sanitation in Africa.
