Sankofa Rising Global is a prevention-first education and youth development initiative based in Trinidad and Tobago. We create safe, structured, culturally grounded support systems for young people during the hours when they are most vulnerable and most in need of guidance.

Our model brings together trauma-informed care, consistent mentorship, academic support, cultural identity development, leadership growth, and workforce readiness. We believe young people do not simply need intervention after crisis; they need affirming systems of support before crisis becomes inevitable.

Sankofa Rising is designed to help students strengthen their sense of belonging, build practical life and academic skills, connect with trusted mentors, and prepare for meaningful futures as learners, workers, leaders, caregivers, entrepreneurs, and contributors to their communities.

Rooted in the belief that every child carries potential and every community carries memory, Sankofa Rising works to transform unsupported hours into opportunity-building hours.
