Anja Kuys

Anja Kuys has a diverse range of work experience in the field of actuarial research and development. Anja began their career at Absa Consultants and Actuaries as an Actuarial Coordinator from May 2004 to December 2006. Anja then joined Barclays Insurance Dublin as an Actuarial Manager from May 2007 to August 2009. Anja moved on to work at RGA Reinsurance Company of South Africa, where they served as a Corporate Actuary from August 2009 to May 2014 and later as a Research Development Actuary from June 2014 to September 2022. In 2022, they joined Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated as the Head of Actuarial Research and Development until May 2023. Anja currently holds the position of Head of Pricing at Sanlam, where they started in May 2023.
